Customers are no longer shopping in stores. They are becoming more mobile, more informed, and less loyal. Brick-and-mortar retailers are struggling immensely. Is digitalization an opportunity? TAILORIT found out in its study “How can digital touchpoints revive brick-and-mortar retail?”.


In the second half of 2016 the ANWR Group and TAILORIT conducted RFID proofs of concept for two affiliated shoe retailers. The goal of these tests was to identify the benefits of implementing RFID for shoe retailers and the clients of ANWR, as well as to measure the process advantages and revenue gains.


„Stories, experiences and emotions – online and offline.“ Under this the motto the 5th Hessian Retail Day will take place on October 12th, 2017 in Wiesbaden – a day focused on the digitalization and structural transformation of the retail industry.

Participants can expect an exciting program filled with speeches, panel discussions and information stands. From the promotion of innovation to emotional store design and smart retail concepts, there’s something for everyone.


On October 11th, 2017, the “Dialog Textil-Bekleidung non-registered association” (for short: DTB) will host its RFID Information Day for the second time.

Together with Syspro, an IT solution provider for RFID, and Adler Modemärkte, TAILORIT will inform participants about the possible applications and potential of RFID for fashion retailers.


On Thursday, September 21st, 2017 TAILORIT will once again welcome the participants of the Round Table RFID, this time at the offices of the ANWR Group in Mainhausen.

The upcoming event will kick off with a workshop conducted together with the EHI and KPMG, where the topic is the development of a European standard for the implementation of RFID for inventory management in logistics and in-store.


Following the success of last year’s event, TXT will host its Thinking Retail Forum for the third time, this time in the capital Berlin. The topic of this year’s forum “Planning for the Retail Renaissance”, facilitates the discussion about new approaches and challenges in the changing retail industry.  Once again TAILORIT will be there.


It’s finally that time again: in the upcoming weeks TAILORIT is once again inviting retailers to come together at its round tables.

The TAILORIT round tables provide a platform for managers from leading brands in the fashion and lifestyle industry to share their experiences in regular meetings. As the organizer and moderator of these meetings, TAILORIT provides its extensive expertise and stimulates intensive discussions amongst the participants.


In today’s digital era, Facebook, Instagram and Co. have become indispensable marketing platforms. Marketing activities across diverse social media channels are essential for retailers to boost their image, interact with customers and provide information.


This year’s EHI Inventory and Security Congress, which deals with all topics surrounding inventory and security in retail - and in particular inventory gaps - will take place on June 27th and 28th in Cologne.

TAILORIT will again be present with a guest speech, together with KPMG.


On Thursday, May 11th 2017, Fashion Net Düsseldorf hosted the networking event “Fashion Net Bite – total digital!” and TAILORIT joined to share its insights.
